Meal Plan: Breakfast

Following an early breakfast, you'll be transferred to Entebbe International Airport for a domestic flight to Kihihi Airstrip, Bwindi National Park. Choose from a morning flight (07:00 - 08:45) or an afternoon flight (12:00 - 13:45) depending on your preference. Please note that luggage allowance is 15kg in soft-sided bags.
Upon arrival at Kihihi Airstrip, you'll be transferred to your lodge, nestled in the heart of the gorilla habitat (approximately 1-hour drive).
After check-in and lunch, you can choose from two activities: Evening Community Village Walk: Explore the local way of life, visit a coffee farm, a gin brewery, and a traditional healer. OR Optional Guided Forest Walk: Discover Uganda's unique flora and fauna in the Bwindi Forest.
Return to Buhoma Lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

Rise early and get ready for the ultimate adventure: a face-to-face encounter with Bwindi's majestic gorillas! After a briefing at the park offices, you'll be divided into small groups of eight and assigned a gorilla family to track, accompanied by an expert park guide.
As you venture into the jungle, remember to bring essential items like your passport, waterproof hiking boots, light rain gear, and appropriate clothing to protect yourself from the elements and stinging nettles. Don't forget gloves, a walking stick, and a waterproof backpack to carry snacks, water, and camera gear.
Once you locate the gorillas, spend an unforgettable hour observing these incredible creatures up close, witnessing their daily behaviors like feeding, playing, and caring for their young. Take a break to enjoy a picnic lunch in the forest, surrounded by the sights and sounds of the jungle.
After this exhilarating experience, return to your lodge for a well-deserved massage to soothe your muscles and relive the excitement of your encounter with the gorillas of Bwindi.

Depart Bwindi Impenetrable Forest and transfer to Kihihi Airstrip for a scenic domestic flight back to Entebbe. Depending on your schedule, you'll depart on either a morning or afternoon flight, bringing you back to Entebbe International Airport. Upon arrival, connect with your international flight, marking the end of your Ugandan adventure. If your departure flight is scheduled for the morning or early afternoon, consider booking an overnight stay in Entebbe to ensure a smooth connection
