Nyungwe National Park: The majestic Nyungwe rainforest in south western Rwanda is filled with nature and wildlife experiences for you to emerge yourself in. Hiking or even biking the beautiful terrain, tracking the chimpanzees, the colobus monkeys, experiencing the canopy walk, relaxing by waterfalls are just a glimpse of activities that Nyungwe offers. It is a birder’s paradise with over 300 bird species including the Ruwenzori turaco, Ross’s turaco, Grey –cheeked hornbill, Red-throated alethe, Red-breasted sparrow hawk, White-headed wood-hoopoe, Kungwe apalis, Ruwenzori batis, Blue-headed and Regal sunbirds.
