A Day in the Life of a Rural Ugandan Lady, this unique culinary adventure begins with a dugout canoe ride, followed by a visit to a local farmer and his family. Explore the fields and harvest your own vegetables, fruits, and herbs. Join your host in the homestead kitchen to prepare a traditional dish over an open fire enjoy a meal with the family and learn about their rich cultural heritage. Listen to storytelling and local music instruments

Day 1: Arrival and Kigali City Tour

Upon arrival at Kigali Airport, our representative will warmly welcome you and transfer you to your accommodation. Depending on your arrival time, we'll embark on a city tour of Kigali, exploring genocide memorial sites, vibrant art galleries, bustling markets, and the inspiring Nyamirambo Women's Centre. Relax and unwind at the luxurious Heaven Boutique Hotel (King room) or The Retreat (High End) Meal Plan: Breakfast

Day 2: Kigali to Bwindi Forest National Park

This morning, after breakfast, we'll embark on a scenic drive to Uganda via the Cyanika border post (approx. 5 hours). After clearing customs and immigration, we'll continue to Lake Mutanda, where we'll check in at the lodge
Enjoy lunch at the lodge, followed by a unique canoe ride on Lake Mutanda. This dugout canoe experience offers a tranquil and picturesque way to explore the lake's beauty.
Overnight at Chameleon Hill Lodge (midrange) or Clouds Mountain Gorilla View Lodge (high end).

Day 3: Ultimate Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi Forest National Park

Rise early and get ready for the ultimate adventure: a face-to-face encounter with Bwindi's majestic gorillas! After a briefing at the park offices, you'll be divided into small groups of eight and assigned a gorilla family to track, accompanied by an expert park guide.
As you venture into the jungle, remember to bring essential items like your passport, waterproof hiking boots, light rain gear, and appropriate clothing to protect yourself from the elements and stinging nettles. Don't forget gloves, a walking stick, and a waterproof backpack to carry snacks, water, and camera gear.
Once you locate the gorillas, spend an unforgettable hour observing these incredible creatures up close, witnessing their daily behaviors like feeding, playing, and caring for their young. Take a break to enjoy a picnic lunch in the forest, surrounded by the sights and sounds of the jungle.
After this exhilarating experience, return to your lodge for a well-deserved massage to soothe your muscles and relive the excitement of your encounter with the gorillas of Bwindi.

Day 4: Drive back to Kigali – Depart

Breakfast at leisure and transfer to Kigali with lunch enroute, visit the genocide memorial museum if not done on day 1, continue to the airport for your departure flight home
