The Young Eye Foundation is a registered non-profit organization, located in Kampala, Uganda, was created to facilitate the growth of youth communities across Uganda. The foundation focuses on improving the livelihood of children to position the nation for prosperity. We seek to empower marginalized youth, through skill building, while ensuring inclusive and equitable quality education, to promote lifelong learning opportunities for Ugandan’s youth in primary learning institutes.

The foundation approaches it’s work with a focus on two youth related issues that are essential to improving the livelihood of children in Uganda: Marginalized youth and Early Childhood Care and Development. The projects that we run fall under these two arms, with the intention to support marginalized youth and contribute to the Early Childhood Care and Development.

Marginalized children are children confined a peripheral edge of society. The children are unfortunately including those that live in poverty, are court-involved, live with a disability or identify as sexual minorities.
